Vault Stuff

2008 Outdoor: The whole Outdoor season was spent trying to make a mark for the Olympic Trials. I have managed to jump over 13'6'' in every meet. I had a series of meets that I jumped at a PR of 14'1'' or higher. I have never had such a great succession of meets. I have only cleared 13'10'' this outdoor season. I did qualify for the B standard for the Trials with that mark. However, there are only 25 girls that get to compete. My mark will probable not be taken. But I am still hopeful! I am still competing even though I have run out of time to submit a higher mark. The next meet I will most likely PR and jump 14'2'' 1/2. This bar has been laughing at me for several weeks now. Everyone who has come to watch can not believe how much better and higher I am jumping. I obviously have to get better at not touching the bar at ALL. I get robbed every time! Thanks for all of the support and emails I get. I really appreciate everyone that takes interests in what I am doing.

2008: Indoor- Best mark of 13'5" 3/4. It was a rough Indoor season fighting run problems. But after a season of battling the 10 step run jumping higher in practice became easier.

2007: Outdoor- High mark of 13'6".

2007: Indoor- Jumped 13'5''.

2006: Outdoor- Jumped at USA Nationals. Did not compete a full season.

2006: Indoor- Posted a Personal Career best of 14’.  Compete at USA Indoor Nationals placing 10^th. Jumped over 13’6’’ three times during the season tying previous personal record. 

2005: Outdoor- Posted Career best 13'6" 1/4, placing second at Florida Relays

2003-2004: Outdoor- Posted a career-best of 12-11 ½ and surpassed the NCAA regional qualifying mark. Reached regional qualifying mark of 12-3 1/2 at Florida Relays and to place fifth at the Yellow Jacket Invitational. Jumped 3.85m 12-07.50 at SEC Championships. Did not compete Indoor

2002-2003: Outdoor- Posted a career-best and NCAA regional qualifying mark of 12'8” to place second at the Knoxville Invitational, ranking fourth on UGA's outdoor all-time list...placed third at the Sea Ray Relays (12-0) and Orange and Purple Classic (12-0). Indoor- Twice matched her indoor career-best mark of 11'11.75”, at the Carolina Fast Times meet (sixth) and UNC Indoor Madness meet (tied for sixth)...tied for fifth all-time on UGA's indoor list in the event.

2002: Did not compete outdoor

2000-2001 (at Louisville): Placed second at C-USA Outdoor Championships and tied for fourth at C-USA Indoor Championships...broke then-school outdoor pole vault record with height of 11'6” at Butler Twilight…won event five times during indoor and outdoor season.

Placed second in the pole vault at Conference USA Indoor Championships and fourth at C-USA Outdoor Championships...set both the school indoor (11-11.75) and outdoor pole vault records (12-0 - shares with Cindy Roberson)...won event a combined five times during the indoor and outdoor seasons...also placed second four times...named to Fall AD's Honor Roll.

1999-2000: Broke then-school outdoor pole vault record with height of 11-6 at Butler Twilight ... Also cleared then-indoor school record height of 10-8 ... Reached at least 11-0 six times during outdoor season ... Captured event five times during indoor and outdoor seasons ... Finished second at C-USA Outdoor Championships and tied for fourth at C-USA Indoor Championships.

v     Movies~~~~~~>Transformers, Iron Man, Marie Antoinette, Stardust, Legally Blonde, Cruel Intentions, Walk the Line. Anything with Reese Witherspoon in it. I love Scary movies; it takes a lot to scare me. SAW, yeah those are creepy. I also love the 80’s movies like Footloose, Top Gun, Days of Thunder, Dirty Dancing, Rocky, Terminator, and Predator.
